Katherine Patrick is a Junior Professional Associate for the World Bank’s East Asia and the Pacific (EAP) region and a core team member of the forthcoming regional flagship report on Gender Equality and Development, a companion to the World Development Report 2012. At the World Bank, she has worked on gender, migration and climate change issues in the East Asia and Pacific region. Prior to joining the Bank, Katherine worked for the Poverty Alleviation Fund and the International Labor Organization in Kathmandu, Nepal, focusing on public works programs. She holds a bachelors of science with honors from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations with a concentration in Labor Economics. In her free time she likes to hike and swim, and is currently learning how to white water kayak.
