Katy Anís is the Founder and Principal of Coalescence Advisory Services, where she focuses on building human capacity across the life course and mobilizing capital for holistic, inclusive development. Over more than three decades, she has lived, worked, or traveled across 46 countries and supported nearly 100 development initiatives spanning philanthropy, bilateral and multilateral institutions, the private sector, and the impact economy. Her experience includes advising angel and high-net-worth investors, leading the raising of an impact venture fund, founding a philanthropic foundation, and working closely with mission-driven and grassroots organizations.

Katy brings expertise in innovative and blended finance and is known for her ability to connect actors across sectors and funding ecosystems to design integrated investment solutions. Her programmatic background spans early childhood and education, climate and environment, gender, violence prevention, social protection, economic development, health and mental health, youth and workforce development, and policy and advocacy, with sustained work supporting children, youth, and adults facing adversity.

She is currently launching a Child Finance Facility to develop alternative financing mechanisms for children and families, including non-state actor bonds, child-focused municipal bonds, and a carbon-to-care model that reinvests environmental finance into community wellbeing. Katy has extensive experience across Africa, Latin America, and Asia, and brings strong multilingual capacity. Her work is grounded in a commitment to holistic human development, ethical capital deployment, and values-based approaches to addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.
