Ken Andrasko works in the World Bank's Carbon Finance Unit and is part of the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) team, where he is helping 36 tropical countries develop national programs to reduce deforestation and greenhouse emissions, known as REDD+. Andrasko leads the development of the FCPF Methodological Framework and the FCPF assessment of strategies tropical country proposed for REDD+.
Before joining the Bank, Ken worked at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Change Division, on the Clinton administration's negotiating team at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Kyoto.
Before that, he worked at the U.S. Initiative on Joint Implementation and U.S Country Studies Program. In that capacity, he co-developed the program's first two Joint Implementation projects in Russia and served as lead author or editor for five United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports.
