Kevin Donovan is a research associate in the World Bank’s infoDev. He graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in science, technology, and international affairs and spent part of 2012 as a Fulbright recipient studying the intersection of digital technology and democratic engagement in South Africa. He previously served on the board of directors of Students for Free Culture, an international NGO working to reform intellectual property rights, and managed Georgetown’s OpenCourseWare initiative.
