Khaled Sherif is a Chief Administrative Officer within the World Bank’s Africa Resource Management unit serving as the principal financial advisor to the Vice President of the Africa region. His previous roles within the World Bank included positions within the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department as Sector Manager of Private and Financial Sector Development, Lead Country Economist and Knowledge Manager. He has also worked as the Senior Foreign Service Economist of the Agency of International Development stationed in Egypt, Director of Center for Administrative and Managerial Development within Egypt’s Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Administrative Development and Assistant Professor of Management at the American University of Cairo. He has published several books in the field of structural adjustment, over 300 articles in the PSD/FSD field and various books and training manuals in Economics and Management.
