Kifaye Didem Bayar is a consultant on the Debt Data Team within the Development Economics Data Group at the World Bank. Specializing in fiscal data analysis with 10+ year experience, she collaborates with institutions globally to compile and analyze debt data for key publications such as the International Debt Statistics (IDS). Before joining the Bank, she worked in the Turkish Treasury in the Public Finance Department.
With a master's degree in Public Policy from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, she brings a robust academic foundation to her role. Her work focuses on providing insights into the external debt positions of reporting countries, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of global economic trends.
