Kimberly Bolch is an Economist in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice at the World Bank. She also serves as the Special Assistant to the Global Director and co-leads the global program on Real-Time Monitoring of Welfare. She has over a decade of experience working with leadership in multilateral institutions to implement strategic priorities on data, research, and financing for poverty reduction and inclusive growth. She rejoined the World Bank in 2022 from the United Nations Development Programme, where she worked with the Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean on knowledge and partnerships for accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously at the World Bank, she worked with the Development Economics Vice Presidency as a core team member of the 2017 World Development Report on Governance and the Law and with the Poverty and Equity Global Practice in the Europe and Central Asia region. Kimberly holds a DPhil in International Development from the University of Oxford.
