Kinnon Scott, a US national, is the World Bank’s Resident Representative in Honduras. Prior to that position, she has held Economist and Senior Economist positions in the Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC) where she managed the Living Standards Measurement Study, and in the Latin America and Caribbean unit of the Poverty and Equity Global Practice. In her last period at the institution, Kinnon served as The World Bank's resident representative for Honduras.
Kinnon holds a PhD in Economic and Social Development and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, both from the University of Pittsburgh. She has also taught at Georgetown University and the University of Virginia.
