Dr. Klara Foti is Research Manager at Living Conditions and Quality of Life unit in Eurofound (European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, based in Dublin). Her research interest includes labour market and social policy issues. In Eurofound, her more recent work focuses on public services, having just now finalised a 9-country comparative research project, which was concerned with the impact of intra-EU mobility on public services. The other project she managed this year focused on the increasing role of private sector in public service delivery. Previously, she worked as Senior Research Fellow for the Institute for World Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest. Her research focused primarily on employment developments and migration in European countries.
