K.M. Maqsoodul Mannan joined the World Bank in 1987 as Transport Specialist in the Energy and Infrastructure Team till April 2004 and joined as a Consultant in September 2009. During his tenure in the Bank, he successfully task managed large infrastructure and flood rehabilitation projects. As Co-Financiers Project Coordinator and Co-Task Leader, he received "Award of Excellence" from the World Bank President James Wolfenson for accomplishment of monumental task in satisfactory and timely completion of technically complex Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Project. From May 2004 and prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Mannan worked as consultant and implementation Specialist in Asian Development Bank, DFID, HIFAB International and Sir Mcdonald and Partners.
