Since 2007, Kristina Nwazota has worked for the World Bank Africa Region as the regional Online Communications Officer in charge of social and multimedia. Before joining the Bank, Kristina was International Editor at the Online NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and a reporter at The Journal News in Westchester County, New York. Kristina was born in Guyana to Nigerian and Guyanese parents. She has a Bachelor's degree in English from Ithaca College and a Master's in Journalism from Columbia University.
