Laban Simbeye is a deputy director in the Zambia Revenue Authority where he heads both the statistics and data analytics programmes. He sits on the balance of payments committee of Zambia as a representative of the tax authority. Laban is also a regular contributor at the University of Lusaka where he has taught economics and public finance since 2010.
