Lamin Njie is a Sector Economist in IFC’s Sector Economics and Development Impact Department. He leads economic and development impact analysis of infrastructure investments in Asia. He also works on monitoring infrastructure financing trends in emerging markets to inform strategic discussions and business opportunities. Prior to joining IFC, Lamin worked in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department of the IMF and at Taylor DeJongh, an investment bank providing advisory services to infrastructure clients. He holds a master’s degree in international business from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Science in commerce from the University of Virginia.
