Lara Loussert is a Disaster Risk Management consultant at the World Bank. She supports the Disaster-Fragility, Conflict and Violence Nexus activities at the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR). She has operational experience in the Middle East and North Africa region in matters related to disaster risk governance, early warning systems and disaster risk reduction. Prior to her engagement with the World Bank, Lara worked in the private sector and public administration in the fields of governance and security and defense policy.
She is a graduate from the University of Bath (UK) and Sciences Po Paris (FR).
