Lars Christian Moller is a Manager at the Macroeconomic, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice in the East Asia and Pacific Region of the World Bank. He oversees the work of 32 staff covering 18 countries in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and the Pacific Islands. He joined the Bank as a Young Professional in 2005 and has worked in different managerial and country economist assignments in Latin America and Africa. Previous assignments include MTI Manager in Africa, Lead Economist for the Andean countries and EFI Program Leader for Ethiopia. His academic work spans a broad range of economic policy topics published in leading development journals and World Bank reports. A Danish national, Moller holds a PhD in Economics from Nottingham (UK), an MA in Development Studies from East Anglia (UK) as well as MSc and BSc Economics degrees from Copenhagen (Denmark).
