Laura Mahajan has spent the majority of her career co-founding and building the Sposato Graduate School of Education, a program focused on training highly effective teachers for schools serving low-income student populations. As Director of Coaching for Sposato, Laura developed a practice-based coaching protocol designed to help new teachers learn and grow quickly and has trained hundreds of teacher-coaches to use the method. She also helped to create and teach Sposato courses on classroom culture and instructional methods. Before joining Sposato, Laura taught middle-school social studies in New York City. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Teacher's College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
