Laura Rodriguez is a Young Professional at Poverty & Equity Global Practice at the World Bank where she has been working on poverty and distributional issues in the Mashreq countries. She is interested in studying the impacts of shocks on poverty and wellbeing, and on the measurement of inequalities, especially the gaps for disadvantaged groups. She holds a in PhD in Economics from The University of Manchester and prior to her PhD she was a researcher at the Overseas Development Institute.
