Lauren Post is a Senior Policy & Advocacy Officer at the International Rescue Committee, where she works on reforming humanitarian aid policy and solutions to protracted displacement.
Ms. Post previously provided strategic communications and policy outreach support for the Center for Global Development's global health policy program. In that role, she focused on improving donor financing for global health issues, and authored chapters in Millions Saved: New Cases of Proven Success in Global Health (2016). Ms. Post first joined CGD as their media relations coordinator, collaborating with researchers across the organization to promote their policy proposals on topics ranging from aid effectiveness to migration to climate change. Prior to CGD, Ms. Post worked at a public relations firm in New York City, where she executed brand and issues management for Fortune 500 companies, and at a consulting firm in London, where she advised on and evaluated corporate social responsibility projects.
Ms. Post holds an MSc in Media, Communication and Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Bucknell University.
