Laurent is a Senior Environmental Specialist in the World Bank’s Climate Policy and Finance Department with over 20 years of experience with technical and policy aspects of global environmental issues. In his current position, he advises and works with Bank teams addressing global pollution issues, including hazardous waste, persistent organic pollutants, and ozone layer depletion. Previous positions include coordinating chemicals activities at the Global Environment Facility. He holds a PhD in water sciences from the University Pierre et Marie Curie of Paris.
