Léa Rouanet is an economist working at the Gender Innovation Lab, within the World Bank’s Africa Chief Economist Office. Her current research focuses on identifying and addressing gender-based constraints through the impact evaluation of development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining the World Bank, Léa was a PhD candidate and Research Fellow at the Paris School of Economics, where her research focused on nutrition, child mortality, fertility and gender preferences in Africa. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics.
