Lennart Kaplan is a researcher at the German Development Institute in Bonn. Previously he worked as a researcher in Heidelberg and Göttingen University, where he also obtained his PhD. Lennart focuses on the meso-level of development research with a focus on development cooperation and political economy. More specifically, his research combines impact evaluation methods with geospatial and survey approaches. His work was published in the Review of International Economics.
