Leo Bottrill is the Director and Co-Producer of Heart of Iron: Mining in the Congo Basin Rainforest and currently works as a consultant for the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. For six years, Leo worked for the World Wildlife Fund and developed innovative visual and mapping tools to track environmental impacts - from palm oil plantations in the Indonesian rainforest to future development in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is based in Washington DC.
