Lewnida Sara is a Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist with the World Bank based in Moroni, Comoros. Lewnida has supported water and sanitation interventions working across both Anglophone and Francophone contexts in Africa. A Kenyan national, she is passionate about the transformative power of clean water, sanitation and hygiene on people's health, livelihoods, and dignity. Outside of work, she is an avid reader and traveler, seeking to remain curious and grounded in the communities she serves.
