Lewnida Sara is a Water and Sanitation Specialist with the World Bank Group based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her primary area of focus is on rural sanitation/public health, and she has been supporting the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Health (both at national and county levels), towards the attainment of the country’s sanitation goals. A Kenyan national, she has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and French from the University of Nairobi, and a master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management from the University of the Free State, South Africa. She is currently supporting various lending projects in the Kenya World Bank office.
