Libby Hattersley is a nutrition specialist working as a consultant with the World Bank’s Health, Nutrition, and Population Global Practice. She has been contributing to the World Bank’s Sugar-Sweetened Beverage Tax Support Program since 2021, and previously worked with the World Bank’s HNP EAP team and the Global Financing Facility. Libby has over 15 years of experience as a research academic and international consultant, with expertise in multisectoral and food systems approaches to promoting food security and nutrition. Libby has a PhD in Population Health from the Australian National University, a Master of International Public Health from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
