Likho Bottoman, is an Occupational Therapist, graduated from the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in the Republic of South Africa (RSA). Born in 1985, Likho practised in the rural hospitals of Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces soon after graduating. He was responsible for Paediatric Occupational Therapy Services and school-based rehabilitation programmes, including therapeutic services for learners with special education needs. Likho joined the then National Department of Education in 2008 as an Assistant Director: Health Promotion, responsible for School Health Services. Likho is currently the Director: Social Cohesion and Equity in Education. Likho obtained the degree, Master of Education in Inclusive Education (Cum Laude) at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), in the RSA and is currently a PhD candidate at the same university.
