Lilian Kahindo is a Senior Social Development Specialist at the World Bank, based in Nairobi. She has worked in social development for more than 15 years in East Africa and she is passionate about making initiatives both socially and environmentally sustainable. She has supported the road agencies in Kenya with set up of systems for management of social risks and impact. And has helped East African governments develop their abilities to manage social risks and impacts in projects. She holds a master’s degree in sociology from University of Nairobi and is a member of International Association of Impact Assessment.
