Line Astrom, Senior Livelihoods and Economic Inclusion Officer, is leading UNHCR’s global approach on economic inclusion from their headquarters in Geneva. She has worked for UNHCR for 16 years, mostly in the area of poverty, economic empowerment and labour market inclusion or forcibly displaced populations, except a few years in sports and private sector and development partnerships.
Prior to her engagement with UNHCR, she worked in Norway on gender and the Security Council Resolution 1325 and for the largest national fundraising campaign supporting humanitarian and development agencies. She also worked for various organizations in different African countries on sports for development in rural communities.
