Lisha Almeida is an Education consultant with the World Bank's Education Global Practice. She holds a Masters in International Education Development from the University of Pennsylvania. Her work primarily focuses on teacher professional development, curriculum design and equity and inclusion in education. She has also worked on designing programs in FCV countries to increase learning outcomes and strengthen government systems.
Prior to joining the World Bank, she was a primary school teacher in India, worked in teacher professional development and was a curriculum development consultant with the Aga Khan Foundation in Mombasa.
