Liza Maharjan is a Data Analyst with the Poverty GP in the Nepal office supporting Open Data initiatives. With her team, she helped manage and deliver a 100-hour data literacy workshop to 50+ mid-career professionals from the non-government sector in Nepal. She formerly worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from Smith College, MA in 2017 with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. She is passionate about social enterprises, education, women empowerment and data literacy. In her free time, Liza enjoys running, singing, volunteering, and having meaningful conversations with people.
