Louisa Barker is an Urban Development Consultant at the World Bank. She joined in 2016 and has contributed to the Disaster Risk Management practice through her work with the Building Regulation for Resilience (BRR) Program and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR). Prior to working for the World Bank, Louisa worked as an analyst for the City Leadership Laboratory at University College London, conducting research for UN-Habitat and the Future Cities Catapult. She is a British National and holds a degree in Geography from Durham University and a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from University College London.
