Louisee Cruz Boari is an Education Specialist, under an Extended Term Consultancy contract, at the World Bank’s Education Global Practice in Latin America, focusing primarily on Brazil. She has experience in the preparation, supervision, and evaluation of projects aimed at enhancing both access to and the quality of education in countries such as Brazil, Angola, São Tomé e Príncipe, Iraq, and Costa Rica. In addition, she has prepared analytical works in various areas, including early literacy, results-based financing, education finance, and systemic education reforms. Before joining the World Bank Group, Louisee worked as a Research Manager at J-PAL and coordinated education projects in Brazil. She holds a dual master’s degree in Public Policy from Maastricht University and the United Nations University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of São Paulo.
