Loza Kibret is a Payment System Consultant for the World Bank’s Ethiopia Country Office, working in the Social Protection Unit. Her work focuses on the transfer component of safety net programs for both rural and urban safety net programs, with a specific focus on the electronic cash transfer system. Prior to joining the World Bank, she had banking sector experience with the Development Bank of Ethiopia and Private Bank as a loan officer and credit analyst. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Rural Development and Livelihood from Addis Ababa University.
