Luis Flores is a Consultant in the Agriculture and Food Practice of the World Bank for Latin America and the Caribbean and a senior technical director in agricultural systems supporting increased trade and sustainable farming systems around the world. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2022, Luis worked in East and West Africa, Central Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean at Michigan State University where he is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Sustainability, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He holds an MS in agricultural economics and a PhD in agriculture and resource studies with an emphasis on international development from Michigan State University.
