Miguel Ángel García Paz is the Director of Aid for Trade at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru. He has represented Peru in negotiations for trade agreements with Hong Kong, Indonesia, and India, among others. He also coordinates international cooperation with aid agencies and international organizations for the development of projects to strengthen foreign trade. Mr. Garcia has led the design of the National Plan for Productivity and Competitiveness, financial support programs for exporting SMEs, and a roadmap to develop e-commerce in Peru. He graduated in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
