Maddalena Honorati is a Senior Economist at the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice of the World Bank. Her interest has focused on the design and evaluation of social safety nets, active labor market programs in developing countries as well as the measurement of jobs and social protection system performance. She authored global, regional and country reports on social safety nets and jobs diagnostics, research papers on labor market issues including policies to foster skills, employability and entrepreneurship. Maddalena holds a PhD in Economics from Bocconi University and a M.Sc. from Pompeu Fabra University.
