Mahamane Maliki Amadou is a Senior Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank working on the Sahel Adaptive Social Protection, West Africa Unique Identification and youth employment projects. Prior to joining the World Bank, he held different positions with World Food Programme (WFP) and the Coordination Unit for the Millennium Challenge Program for Niger (UC/PMC). His main areas of interest are food security, cash, voucher and food safety net, vulnerability analysis, food market analysis and impact evaluation. Mahamane holds a PhD in Economics from Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International (CERDI), CNRS, Université Clermont Auvergne, France.
