Maiko Miyake brings more than 25 years of private sector development experience.  She has worked on policy analysis, dialogue, and implementation to improve the policy environment across a wide range of topics, such as trade, investment climate, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, access to land, commercial court reforms, taxation, insolvency, governance, jobs, green financing, and impact investing.
 
Maiko currently leads the IFC Creating Market Advisory Unit for North, West, and Central Africa, which is IFC’s “reform unit” and focuses on implementing reforms that propel private sector-led growth in developing countries.  Before IFC, Maiko worked in several international organizations, including the United Nations, OECD, the World Bank, and MIGA, dealing with governments and the private sector around the world.
