Maja Vezmar is a Legal Consultant at the World Bank's Migration and Remittances Team. She has extensively analyzed laws and regulations affecting integration of economic migrants and refugees across economic, social, and political spheres of host societies. Prior to joining the World Bank, Maja practiced law in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. She received an L.L.M. in international legal studies from the American University Washington College of Law and a master’s degree in public law from the University of Belgrade.
