Malik-Aidar Abakirov is a professional banker with more than 30 years of experience in the banking sector. He started his career in the Central Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, then worked in the private sector. He was one of the initiators of the creation of a guarantee fund in the Kyrgyz Republic. He is also a consultant of international institutions on sustainable development of the economy and the business sector.
