Manuel Figueredo is a Senior Social Development Specialist based in Cotonou leading CDD operations in Benin, Togo, and Mali. His operational experience spans several regions, having worked in West Africa, East Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and the Middle East. He is also leading global and regional analytical initiatives, including on digital technologies for CDD and citizen engagement and the nexus of climate change and conflict in West Africa. An area of Manuel’s expertise is in integrating technology to solve inclusion challenges. A Venezuelan national, Manuel holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
