Mar Beltran is the Senior Director, Infrastructure Sector lead for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at S&P Global Ratings. She previously worked at the Australia-based Global Infrastructure Hub, where she led policy work to identify reforms in infrastructure markets. As a senior director, Beltran advises governments of both developed and developing economies on governance, regulatory frameworks, planning and delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
Prior to this, Mar spent a decade at the fund management firm, AMP Capital. Leading a team that managed infrastructure, retail and institutional investor portfolios totaling approximately US$4 billion, Beltran was responsible for investment decisions, asset management and client relationships across several infrastructure investments and funds. Her previous experience also includes positions in senior origination and asset management for the construction group, Ferrovial, and the transport group, Cintra.
Mar has sat on several infrastructure boards as a non-executive director, for projects including Melbourne Airport and Sydney-based Reliance Rail.
