Marcell T. Kurbucz is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Global Prosperity at University College London (UCL), where he applies advanced quantitative and computational methods to explore complex economic and social phenomena. He also serves as a consultant to the World Bank. Prior to joining UCL, he held research and teaching positions in the Department of Computational Sciences at the HUN-REN Wigner Research Centre for Physics and in the Department of Statistics at Corvinus University of Budapest. His work focuses on high-dimensional statistics, representation learning, and computational social science.
