Marcelo Donolo is a Senior Strategy and Operations Officer at the World Bank. In his 25 years at the Bank, Marcelo has led the development and implementation of global strategies to strengthen and modernize organizational management systems in the area of public procurement, risk management, and anticorruption. Marcelo has extensive practical knowledge and experience developing multi-stakeholder programs to foster innovation and build institutional capacity through the leveraging of data, technology, and systems. His focus has been on designing and implementing strategic initiatives, managing innovation from concept to market, building enterprise-level solutions to manage risk, and developing data science know-how to advance risk analytics in his current role in the Integrity Vice Presidency, the World Bank’s anticorruption unit.
