Marcio De La Cruz is a Trade Consultant for the World Bank’s Trade & Competitiveness (T&C) Global Practice. He is interested in trade policy topics, competitiveness and macroeconomics issues. He works on Regional Integration initiatives, where he advises on value chains and trade integration for the South Asia Region. Prior to joining the Bank in 2016, he worked in the Peruvian Government’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism on APEC, trade promotion and trade facilitation issues. He holds a Master’s of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, License in International Relations and a BA in Political Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
