Marcus Wishart is the World Bank’s Lead Water Specialist for the Middle East and North Africa, based in Amman, Jordan. He has published widely on a range of water-related topics and worked on large hydraulic infrastructure and water resource projects for more than 25 years in Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East and North Africa. He holds a PhD from Griffith University in Australia, an MSc from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and a BSc with Honours from the University of Adelaide.
