Maria Andersen is a Consultant with the Applied Research team of the Investment Climate unit in the Trade & Competitiveness Global Practice at the World Bank Group. Before she joined T&C, she researched youth employment, contributing to the Bank’s “Toward Solutions for Youth Employment” baseline report. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she researched international trade, migration and ICT4D for a variety of academic institutions and international development organizations. She holds an M.A. degree in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins University.
