Maria Loreto Padua is Senior Social Development Specialist at World Bank Philippines. Her focus is on operations, analytical and advisory work related to community-driven development, social accountability, citizen participation, and social risk assessment. Previously, Ms. Padua worked on social development policy and program development/coordination, development and management of community-based social protection programs, undergraduate and post-graduate academic teaching on social work administration, human behavior and social change, and community-based approaches.
Ms. Padua has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in community organizing from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
