Soledad Requejo is a Senior Operations Officer at International Finance Corporation, where she leads upstream and advisory work with agribusiness companies in Latin America, with a focus on the Andean Region. Her work supports the strengthening of operations and supply chains through approaches that improve environmental and social outcomes while increasing productivity, resilience, smallholder integration, and job creation.
She is currently undertaking a development assignment with the World Bank focused on the blue economy, including work related to sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, women’s economic participation, and more inclusive coastal livelihoods. Her work also supports stronger IFC–World Bank synergies through Agriconnect and related initiatives that connect public and private sector efforts to advance sustainable agricultural transformation.
She holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
