Marianna is an infrastructure consultant with the Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF), based in the World Bank, in Washington, D.C., supporting its Brazil and Africa portfolios of project preparation activities. She joined the World Bank in 2016 to work with the Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF) analyzing the performance of upstream infrastructure projects, and worked to develop and implement the Global PPP Certification Program and the PPP Knowledge Lab—both knowledge tools for PPP capacity building. In addition to her work with GIF, Marianna also provides operational and analytical support for the World Bank´s transport team with their urban mobility projects in Brazil.
A Brazilian national, Marianna holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
