Marie Christine Apedo-Amah is an economist in the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice in the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) Region. She is passionate about supporting female, youth, and digital entrepreneurship. She joined the Bank as a Young Professional in 2019 and had worked since on Central Africa, MENA, and East-Asia. She holds a PhD in Economics from Aix-Marseille School of Economics (2017), and has 11 years of experience working on development projects and research in Europe and Africa.
